When I first spoke to Nikki, the soon to be Mrs., a few months ago, I knew that she was going to be amazingly fun to work with. Our phone conversation was truly...fun! We chatted about photography for a few minutes, but then about traffic, and karaoke, her career, and mainly, Kevin. Nikki spoke of her and Kevin's story with such enthusiasm, and treated me as if she had known me forever. When I got off the phone, I felt like I had talked to a girlfriend for half an hour.

Well, October 9 finally rolled around, and everything I thought about Nikki from just a couple phone conversations and one meeting was amplified. Both her and (now hubby!) Kevin are amazingly bright and kind people. Nikki truly lights up a room, either with her warmth, or her wonderfully animated sense of humor. The love between the two of them is like nothing I have ever witnessed before. The chemistry, the humor, their bond over music, and just the way they look at each other and interact, seems to have jumped right out of a storybook. This was not your usual, calculated wedding. Every simple detail was about them, and their love and life together. No fancy steak dinner or chocolate fountains here, yet easily probably one of the greatest weddings I've ever been to. I went home that night completely inspired by not only their love for each other, but their love for, and belief in everyone around them.

We had about an hour or so on a Tuesday afternoon before the storm clouds were destined to roll in. Apparently, that's all the time you need when you have two adorable beautiful faced little girls!
